Airport Information

Bradley International Airport is 20 miles from The Studio at Pamela’s Patterns and the hotels. The least expensive and fastest way to get to and from the airport to the hotel is by Uber. Prices can vary slightly, but the common range for this ride is $25 - $33 each way, less expensive than a traditional cab or shuttle. If you have not used Uber before, it is an app you load onto your phone. There are lots of YouTube videos that will show you how to use the Uber app, but follow this link for good info and a discount code for your first ride.

Classroom Information

Classroom Layout

Our classroom features sturdy tables, padded chairs, cutting mats, irons and even a holder for your phone! We always suggest bringing your basic sewing supplies, but if you forget something, we have plenty to share.

Machines

For most sewing classes we recommend that you bring your own sewing machine, simply because you are familiar with it and helps you to be more productive. However, if that is not possible for you, we have several machines that you are welcome to use. And there is never a charge to use our machines. All of our machines take standard class 15 bobbins (Baby Lock, Brother, Janome, etc), so bring those with you for the project if you have them (we have plenty if you don't!). We also have sergers available for classroom use. Check your supply list to see what machine(s) you will need.

Food and Beverages

The Kitchenette has cold spring water, coffee, tea and lite snacks. There is a refrigerator, microwave and toaster if you want to bring something with you.

Shopping

Check out The Market Room!
